Can you put an ignition interlock on a motorcycle?

Sometimes. Of the companies that publish a policy, LifeSafer and Smart Start say they install on motorcycles, while Intoxalock and Guardian say they don't. Whether a bike counts toward your order, or whether you can ride at all, is up to your state.

What to ask before you ride

Ask your state's interlock program whether your restricted license covers motorcycles and whether a motorcycle interlock counts toward your order, then ask each approved company whether it installs on your make and model.
